Main Idea: God is always at work behind the scenes in our lives, even during difficult times. Through trusting in God’s providence, we know that He can use our struggles for His purpose, and His glory.
How this passage points us to Jesus: Moses is a precursor to Jesus, foreshadowing the deliverance He brings. Just as Jochebed’s faith led to Moses’ preservation and Israel’s deliverance, Christ’s coming and sacrificial act is the ultimate rescue & salvation for humanity, delivering us from spiritual bondage.
