As we receive God’s salvation, God gives us, His children, the opportunity to fellowship with Him. You may be asking, how can I pray? Below is a guide to assist you in how to pray. This outline is based on The Lord’s Prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13.

- Give thanks for past, present, and future blessings
- Freely worship and adore Him
2. Continue with confession and repentance
- Ask God to search your thoughts and attitudes
- Carefully examine your speech
- Ask God to thoroughly search your relationships
- Confess any sins of commission and be sure to forsake the sins God reveals
- Confess any sins of omission and make a definite commitment to obedience
- Resolve to fully repent of any known sing of thought, word, or deed
- Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit
- Be sure to look to God’s Word, for Him to speak to you
